The Moorings is a dormer bungalow, originally built around 1930 and refurbished in 2017/8, offering spacious accommodation for an extended family or two families seeking a traditional seaside holiday together. The house sits in lawned gardens on a quiet sea-front road, with only the Fairbourne miniature railway embankment and the sea wall separating it from the beach. The first floor sitting room offers views to the west of the sea over the miniature railway line, and to the east the Cadair Idris range of hills and Mawddath estuary.
Most of the accommodation is on the ground floor, with wifi and central heating throughout.
Sunroom: to the front, with wicker sofa and two chairs, side tables and door to the patio
Kitchen: well fitted and equipped with a painted traditional crockery cupboard, original Belfast sink, modern fitted units, built-in electric oven, ceramic hob with extractor hood over, microwave, fridge freezer, washer dryer and dishwasher. Equipment includes kettle, toaster, slow cooker, mixer, as well as a range of pans, crockery and glassware
Dining Room (the 'Big Room'): with two swivel chairs, footstool and occasional tables in front of the woodburning stove, sideboard, upholstered window seat with scatter cushions, wifi hub and a large contemporary dining table, chairs and bench seating
Bedroom 1 (the 'Grannery'): with double bed
Bedroom 2 (the 'Antiquary'): with low double bed
Bedroom 3 (the 'Gubbery'): family room with double bed
and 2'6'' single bed
Bedroom 4 (aka the 'Breakfast Room'): single bed and cot
